1. Trek the Annapurna Mountain Range

Everest, step aside. Granted, it may be the tallest mountain in Nepal – but it’s not the only showstopper that lies amongst the Himalayas. Introducing the Ghorepani Poonhill Trek, a 45km (about 27.96 mi) circuit offering panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountain ranges.   

This trek, usually completed in three days, ascends through lush jungles and authentic local villages like Ghorepani and Tadapani, before reaching Poon Hill (3250m) – where travellers can catch an epic sunrise over the Himalayas. If you are a lover of hiking and the great outdoors, then the Poon Hill Trek is one to consider when looking for things to do in Nepal.

2. White Water Raft on Trishuli River

3. Paraglide over Pokhara

Are you looking for things to do in Nepal that will get your heart pumping? Paragliding over Pokhara will likely tick this box! Soar above one of Nepal’s most picturesque landscapes, marvelling at the panoramic views of Phewa Lake and the Annapurna Mountain range as you glide through the air. Need we say anymore?

4. Embark on a Jeep Safari through Chitwan National Park  

Not short on its diverse range of wildlife, embarking on a jeep safari is a must-add to your list of things to do in Nepal, and Chitwan National Park is one of the best places to go in Nepal for this.
